Journey into Freedom course for the Monday’s of Lent from 15 February until 21 March.
R.C.I.A. Programme is running in our Parish and our Parish Cell Community is involved
in supporting the faith journey of the five catechumens who are d v receiving baptism at
our Easter Vigil Mass.

New Cell Initiative:
One of our Cell members attended a first anniversary Mass for her sister who had been
a patient in Glenaulin Nursing Home in Chapelizod and as a result of her singing and generally enthusiastic
participation in the Mass she was asked what parish she was in.
She then explained about the Cells in Ballinteer and as a direct result of this encounter a new Cell has started in
the Nursing Home. deo gratias.
A member of our Cell Community has been invited to share her experience of being in a
Cell with about twenty people in an out-reach organised by Fr Pat Collins.
Preparation for Pentecost:
Each year we host ‘Holy Hour Home meetings’ each week for four weeks leading up to Pentecost Sunday. These
meeting fall this year on 20 April, 27 April, 04 May and 11 May.
Parish Cell Community Rally 25 May 2016:
We are planning this rally to celebrate the Extraordinary Year of Mercy and have invited Don Devaney who is
involved with Divine Mercy devotions to attend.
National Cell Seminar 2016
The 2016 National Cell Seminar will be held in Ballinteer
23rd - 25th September 2016.
Deacon Noel Ryan from St John the Evangelist Parish, Ballinteer and his wife Annette met Pope Francis
this weekend as part of the delegation from the International Centre for the Diaconate.
Noel and Annette were part of the founding group of the Parish Cells in Ireland way back in 1990.
